Darya and EBN Limeted company

I would like to tell you about my two practice weeks.

You can see some documents, which help to organise work.

Second weeks was more active I did a lot of work:
* to write letters with offer to cooperate and in order to find loading,


* to response to calls, to complete all necessary documents, to work in profile of logistics programme TimoCom,


* to work with invoices, to register some loadings.


These tasks were interested and I very liked to do them. If I didn’t understand something I was asking.

And at third week I also did the same work. And new at this week was that we in company would like to connect with russian suppliers or hauliers, but while it is not given result. I sent russian letters with offer about to partnership through programme Timocom and unfortunately just two asked.



One of them refused, because the loading have already sold and another it didn’t get find haulier because loading was for tomorrow and didn’t find suitable haulier. The most of my time I answered by telephone and discussed process of work and ask questions.

I would like introduce you my teachers during practice. Taught me Vics and Alan. My supervisor is Vics Summer, who is director. Alan Dimbleby is manager of freight transpotation.

Now when practice is finished I will look my new beautiful watch and always remember my great work experience. Thank You!)

My office of practice place was on only square of Dover, which is so lovely))))

And I spent useful three weeks on the fourth floor in this building)


And one thing that I will remember forever)))) My lunch almost always was on the beach. It is amazing opportunity to take short break from the working day.

Dover

Dover is really beautiful town))) I walked on the streets and was impressive how a lot of houses can be spread on the mountains, I haven't seen that before.



Houses looks like pictures from magazine, so lovely. If you go to center town you should go down along the street, then scramble to up))) and again go down along the streets and so on, so on. But you don't notice that how it forces and go further.




And of course beach of Dover, I never want go away))))

My first days on practice placement

Today was fourth day of my work experience. My company is EBN Limited, which has head office in London and branch office here, in Dover.



At first day I researched arrangement of work and find out aims of company. The company has Parent Company (CLD) in Italy, therefore one of the most main destination is transport cargo from Italy to UK and back. The company has great coordinated network between hauliers, suppliers and freight forwarding companies.

I practice my skills in department of international freight, which offers transport service full and partial loading/unloading and groupage service of goods. Also task is to find suitable haulier, connect with suppliers and clients.

I answer calls, accept mail and sorted by importance. I discuss with my supervisor problems of current freights. Also I acquaint with all necessary documentation for organization the transport of goods: invoices, correspondence by e-mail and other.

How our study travel will begin

Our study travel will begin in Narva, wherefrom we will go to Tallinn and after go to the airport Ülimiste. And then by the plane to UK))))))

When we will arrive to London next our destination is Canterbury.

Business english course is finished

That's all. I have finished English course in Likool.

It was our last lesson and it has finished solemnly)))

And today we all have certifacation which gives us opportunity to add plus in CV. Now we became closely to UK, to our practise)))
